YouTube star Adam The Woo has died at 51 years old, being found dead by police at his home in Florida.

According to TMZ, officers from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the YouTuber’s home at midday on Monday, December 22, for a “well-being check,” but were unable to gain entry or make contact with him.

After a friend became concerned for Adam, they borrowed a ladder to check if he was upstairs in the house. They then found the YouTuber unresponsive, lying on a bed.

Police returned to the house, alongside members of fire and rescue teams, pronouncing Adam dead at the scene.

Adam, who posted on his two channels – The Daily Woo and Adam The Woo – regularly made videos documenting theme parks across the United States and further afield. The YouTuber had only recently returned from a trip to Disneyland Paris.

He also made content about pop culture landmarks while on his travels, including urban exploration of abandoned sites when he lived out of his van.

The YouTuber hadn’t achieved his long-standing goal of crossing the 1 million subscriber mark on either channel, but combined for well over a million when the two totals were put together.

Tributes have poured in for the 51-year-old, who had posted on his The Daily Woo channel on December 21 about Christmas celebrations in Celebration, Florida.

“Rest in peace Adam, thanks for the daily laughs and enjoyment,” one said. “I’m devastated. His poor mom and dad. Thanks for everything Adam. We love you,” another added.

“Dear Adam, as a longtime subscriber, the thought of no longer tagging along on new adventures with you online saddens me deeply. Thank you for sharing your kindness, curiosity and passion for exploring places and connecting with people. You truly meant the world to so many of us, brightening our days in ways you may never have fully known,” commented another.
