Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel revealed an “under average” earnings day from Twitch during his prime run, and it’s still more than most people’s yearly salary.
Talking about their income is something that has split content creators over the years. Some are happy to flex their wealth, others want it to remain as lowkey as possible and don’t talk about it too much.
YouTube star MoistCr1TiKaL has opened it up again after announcing that he would be closing off his Twitch donations. He’s raised it to such a ridiculous level that no one in their right mind would actually donate to it. Moist also showed off his lifetime earnings from YouTube and Twitch, noting that he’d made $5 million from infrequent streams on the Amazon-owned platform.
That got onto xQc’s radar, and he’s never been too shy about his earnings. So, he decided to show off a “below average” day from his 2019-2023 run.
xQc made $50k a day in Twitch prime
“That was actually under the average, I guess like a bad day,” he told fans on October 15, showing off a screenshot of him earning $45,860 on a random December 15.
His biggest earner on that day? Advertisements. He made just over $33,600 from ads with another $10,000 coming from subscriptions – both normal and Twitch Prime.
“It was any day between 2019 and 2023 or some s*it like that. RP era type thing, thats what it was. This is now the standard, or a little bit less than that, right, for everybody else?” he continued, pointing to streamers doing subathons.
Some fans noted that the Canadian likely made around $18 million a year from his prime Twitch days, and that is without any external brand deals, investments, or donations from fans.
His contract with Kick was worth a reported $100 million, too, so he’s not short of cash.
