Popular streamer xQc has revealed he was paid a flat $1 million fee to stream Call of Duty: Warzone for 12 hours, making it the biggest single-stream payday of his career.
Speaking to Dexerto in our 20 Questions series on YouTube, xQc was asked about the most money he has ever made from one stream.
From ads, the record was just over $50k in a day, while gambling made as much as $15 million in a day. However, he said the Warzone deal was the largest sponsor he had ever taken in one go.
“So ad day $57,000. Gambling day was more like $15 mil,” xQc said. “When it comes down to a sponsor, I had a late sponsor kick in. It was Call of Duty: Warzone.”

He explained that he had ignored the sponsorship request from Activision for most of the season, before they came back with a revised offer.
“I hadn’t answered their request for their sponsors for like the whole season. At the end, they were like, ‘Yo, dude, we’ll give you like the rest of the budget or whatever.’”
Originally, the deal would have required multiple streams over a two-week period, but xQc said he was given the option to complete it in one session. “They’re like, ‘Well, you were supposed to play like once or like a couple times for 2 weeks, but you can do it all in one day if you want.’”
xQc chose to do exactly that, he explained: “I played for like 12 hours, I think. And it was like $1 mil flat. That was the biggest condensed sponsor I’ve ever taken.”
The former Overwatch pro also revealed that he thought his career would actually be over after he was kicked from the Overwatch League. Clearly, it didn’t turn out that way.
