Streaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel believes Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson “cannot” be on a Mount Rushmore of YouTubers and has urged people to find a “new list” to build.

Over the years, when it comes ot listing the GOATs of different platforms, many people have turned to the Mount Rushmore example. Everyone has different criteria, with many focusing on the here and now side of it, and others looking back at those who built platforms up.

With MrBeast having the most subscribers of any YouTuber out there, and the success he’s had outside of YouTube as well, it’s pretty hard to deny him a spot on the Mount Rushmore of YouTube stars. However, plenty of people do it – harkening back to the forefathers of the early YouTube scene.

It’s something that xQc weighed in on during his February 5 stream, saying that MrBeast “cannot” be given a spot on any Mount Rushmore ranking.

xQc doesn’t believe MrBeast can be on a YouTube MountRushmore

The Twitch and Kick streamer was responding to JasonTheWeen’s ranking of streamers and YouTubers, where he named Donaldson as one of his top YouTube picks.

“MrBeast cannot be on Rushmore. There’s nothing for Jimmy to stand on with all the early-day YouTube s*it,” xQc said, pointing to OGs like Ray William Johnson instead.

“There’s no funding, no ads, there’s nothing, no virality. You can make the most viral s*it out there, and it’ll do 10 million views. He had nothing to walk on. People need to find a new list that is not Mount Rushmore.”

The Canadian streamer has long chosen the forefathers of platforms over the newcomers for such rankings, picking Lirik, Summit1g, Reckful, and Sodapoppin for his Twitch Mount Rushmore.

He took issue with Twitch CEO Dan Clancy opting for Kai Cenat on his Mount Rushmore back in October, too.

“I crawled. I walked. I f***ing… Bro, I did anything so anybody could run. I didn’t just crawl. I crawled and walked so people could run,” he said, suggesting himself for a spot.
