Over the course of six episodes, Beast Games Season 2 has whittled down its player count to just 10 finalists. We’re still a few weeks away from finding out the winner, but a majority of Polymarket bettors have singled out one contestant.
MrBeast’s competition series returned to Prime Video earlier this month, kicking off with 200 players – 100 of the strongest and 100 of the smartest he could find. But only one of them will be the sole winner of a whopping $5 million prize.
This could be bumped up to $10 million depending on if Player 152 (Monika) chooses to flip her gold coin later in the show. If she guesses correctly, the prize fund will be doubled, but if she’s wrong, she’ll be eliminated.
We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out in the upcoming Beast Games Season 2 episodes. Until then, viewers are playing their own gamble on the contestant they believe will win the show.
Polymarket bettors have one clear winner for Beast Games season 2
Over on the prediction platform Polymarket, a whopping 83% of bettors have gambled on Player 167, aka Tyler, to win Beast Games Season 2.
For the uninitiated, Polymarket is a platform where users can place bets on future events, and in this case, it’s ‘Who will win the Beast Games: Season 2?’
With just 10 contestants left in the competition (11 right now, plus one set to be eliminated in Episode 7), the market is overwhelmingly unbalanced.
Tyler is the only player with double-digit odds, while every other remaining contestant is stuck in the low single digits. You can see how this looks at the time of writing below:
- Player 167 (Tyler) – 83%
- Player 58 (Jack) – 2%
- Player 173 (Jim) – 1%
- Player 152 (Monika) – 2%
- Player 195 (Brett) – 3%
- Player 191 (Cory) – 2%
- Player 38 (Kady) – 1%
- Player 99 (Hannah) – 1%
- Player 118 (Nick) – 2%
- Player 172 (Auguste) – 3%
- Player 157 (Catey) – 1%
It’s worth noting that prediction markets have occasionally aligned with eventual outcomes in the past, but they ultimately track betting behavior rather than certainty – and Beast Games Season 2 is no exception.
Beast Games Season 2 odds compared to Season 1 winner
Prime VideoEven so, fans have noticed the massive odds for Tyler, comparing it to the Polymarket odds for the Beast Games Season 1 winner.
Taking to Reddit, one wrote, “Winner basically revealed on Polymarket… I won’t give any numbers for obvious reasons but if you search up Beast Games on Polymarket one of the remaining contestants does have extremely good odds 81%,” referring to Tyler.
They went on to say that the “same exact thing happened” with Player 831, Jeff Allen, who won Beast Games Season 2. “He also had really high odds,” the Redditor added.
Another replied, “Omg that’s insane, how did they even know?” Some have suggested that there may be a secret leak. “There is no way he is not the winner,” wrote one. “Any friend or extended family member can fully bet knowing who won.”
Another speculated, “If it is really a leak, then it explains the initial raise. And then many people might just believe that the leak is real and go with the flow.”
But others think there’s a far sillier explanation: the fact that Tyler’s player number is 167. “It’s just because of the 67 meme,” said one. “Come back here after Episode 10.”
The latter part of their comment is certainly true. We won’t know for sure who the winner of Beast Games Season 2 is until the finale drops on Prime Video on February 25.
