FaZe Clan is facing major questions over its future as multiple members have confirmed their exit from the organization, as internal disputes spill into public view.

Over the course of Christmas Day, FaZe members creators including JasonTheWeen, Lacy, StableRonaldo, and Silky all announced that they have “left” FaZe, marking the effective end of the current house era.

One of the most significant departures was Adapt, who announced his exit after 14 years with the org, adding a message that “the best is yet to come.”

The situation escalated after FaZe co-founder FaZe Banks addressed the fallout publicly, pushing back on claims about how the group was treated financially.

FaZe Banks speaks out

Banks said the creators were given significant support, including housing that he personally financed. He claimed the decision put him into debt and described the arrangement as a major personal risk taken to support the group early on.

“I just watched some clips from this Plaqueboymax stream, where he’s playing a laugh track over my tweet, and it’s like, Max, I know we’ve had our individual differences, and I know I haven’t really seen eye-to-eye with a lot of the talent, because truthfully and honestly, I find you guys all to be incredibly ungrateful.

“I find you guys to have insane egos,” Banks continued. “I think it’s disgusting. It makes me sick to my stomach that your guys’ relationship with each other, with every other streamer, and your community included, is so incredibly fake. You guys are the best actors on planet Earth, and you’ve made a complete career out of all of it.”

PlaqueBoyMax confirmed he had already left FaZe months earlier. Max explained that his decision back in August was tied to long-standing issues around ownership and control, arising from a sponsorship that fell through.

100 Thieves member Valkyrae suggested on stream that several of the former FaZe members are planning to create a new group, where they will have more control and ownership. While no official announcement has been made about a new organization, multiple streamers have hinted that plans are already in motion.

At the time of writing, the only streamers that remain on FaZe Clan’s content creator team are Kaysan and YourRage. YourRage has not commented publicly, but Kaysan posted a “heartbroken” emoji on X.

We will keep this story updated with any FaZe Clan developments.
