YouTuber Vitaly has revealed that he vlogged his whole experience while in jail in the Philippines, and he doesn’t “regret” the experience whatsoever.
Back in April 2025, Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was arrested in the Philippines following a series of controversial broadcasts online. In his streams, the well-known online prankster appeared to harass locals, steal, attempt to kiss a security guard, and even try to seize a firearm.
Vitaly had been held in custody in the Philippines from April 3, at a time when officials were denouncing nuisance streamers for harassing locals. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr, the President of the Philippines, even stated that the behavior would not be tolerated any further as it made his “blood boil.”
Zdorovetskiy had additional charges thrown his way in June, and looked set to spend up to eight months in jail. However, on January 17, he was deported to Russia, breaking his silence on the “hell” that he experienced.
Vitaly had a phone while in jail
Since then, the YouTuber has returned to the United States, linking up with Adin Ross to speak further on his detainment and what it was all like.
“I had a phone the whole time in jail. I vlogged the whole experience and I’m going to expose the corruption and everything,” he told the KICK star on January 22. “Just corruption bro, you pay the guard, and you’re good to go.
“Bro, you can do anything. Money talks in the Philippines.”
Additionally, Zdorovetskiy said he doesn’t “regret” the experience. “Absolutely not, because it’s an experience,” he said.
“I spent 10 months in jail. I read so many business books, I got smarter, but not a lot of people know what I did in the Philippines before. Have you seen what I did? I was on a world tour helping people.”
Officials fired over Vitaly’s “special treatment”
As per the Bureau of Immigration, three officials were fired for allegedly giving “special treatment” to the vlogger.
Philstarlife reported that the Bureau of Immigration “verified that the videos were recorded early in the Russian vlogger’s arrest.”
As it stands, Vitaly has not revealed as to when he might upload a video documenting his almost 300-day stint in jail.
