Twitch streamer RDCGaming urged one fan to refund their own $5000 donation where they asked him to play a game that he’s already planning to play.

There are plenty of ways to support your favorite Twitch streamer, be it through subscribing, donating Twitch Bits, or donating money directly to them. The latter has, at times, caused some monumental headaches, with viewers disputing their own donations in order to leave streamers out of pocket.

Of course, not every donation is sinister. Viewers want to interact with their favorite streamer, and will regularly donate to offer suggestions on games to play or videos to react to.

That happened to RDCGaming on December. The Twitch streamer, who also has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube, received a $5000 donation from a fan who just wanted to see him play a specific game. However, he wasn’t having it.

RDCGaming urges viewer to refund massive Twitch donation

“Dispute that dono, dispute that dono bro. $5000 is crazy. I understand it’s Christmas time, but $5000 is crazy. Dispute that dono because I don’t want you to try to tell us what to play, and we just gonna play that b*tch. Dispute the dono,” the stremaer said.

“I love your support, I appreciate your support, but look, don’t do that. Dispute the dono, get your money back! I’m going to play For Honour, I am, I truly am.

“I don’t want to treat you like a brand deal, alright? We do brand deals for some paper. You watch us, and we appreciate your support from just watching. Keep your money and go give that to some people in your city that need it for Christmas, because you obviously got paper.”

As noted, sizable donations have caused headaches for streamers in the past. When Twitch added an option to donate 1000 gifted subscriptions, which would also cost $5000, a number of streamers hit out at it.

Streaming star Asmongold stated that he would ban anyone who used the option and would request proof that they could actually afford it.
