A TikToker has responded after Dr Pepper finally used her viral ‘Good and Nice’ jingle on a big-time advert for the College Football playoffs.
One thing that makes iconic adverts so memorable is the jingle that’s included. It’s nearly impossible to hear McDonald’s say “I’m lovin’ in” without thinking of the “ba da ba ba ba,” that comes before it.
Back on December 23, TikToker Romeo, who posts under Romeosshow, suggested a new jingle for Dr Pepper. Her catchy tune proclaimed that the soft drink is both good and nice, and it quickly became a viral hit on the short-form video platform.
Plenty of other creators weighed in, adding slight basslines and remixes to Romeo’s original jingle, prompting it to get onto Dr Pepper’s radar.

The original video, which has gotten almost 32 million views, has taken on a life of it’s own since being posted. And, finally, Dr Pepper has incorporated it into one of their commercials.
That came during the College Football Playoffs final between Miami and Indiana, with the soda brand crediting Romeo’s original jingle in their commercial.

Naturally, plenty of TikTokers captured the moment, posting videos of their reaction after it aired on national TV.
Romeo also responded, doing a mock speech as if she’d just won an award. “I would like to thank all of my supporters and all of the Dr Pepper fans and everybody in between who rallied together to make this moment happen,” she said.
“I’m usually silly, and I know this is silly, but I really am genuinely thankful and I can’t. Thank you to everyone that made this happen.”
While many fans congratulated her on the jingle being used, many quizzed Romeo as to whether or not she got paid for the advert.
“Now how much was the check? I’m dying here,” one commented. “I can’t wait to see this ad in the SUPERBOWL,” another added. “They better have given you your COIN,” replied another.
Other commenters suggested that she work with other brands as well, with the TikToker telling them to “stay tuned” for the future.
