Prime Video has revealed the new presenting lineup for its upcoming revival of The Grand Tour, confirming TikTok personality Francis Bourgeois will front the series alongside automotive YouTubers James Engelsman and Thomas Holland.
The six-part season will stream on Prime Video later in 2026 and will follow the trio as they travel across multiple continents to take on large-scale motoring challenges, from crossing the Angolan desert in track cars to exploring Malaysia’s car culture before heading to California to test new performance vehicles.
The announcement comes two years after original hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May bowed out following a final special filmed in Botswana, closing a chapter that defined the series for more than a decade.
Who are the new Grand Tour hosts
Engelsman and Holland are best known as the creators behind Throttle House, a long-running car review channel that has amassed millions of subscribers through high-production reviews of modern supercars, classics, and unusual builds.
Holland is an automotive journalist and amateur racing driver based in Canada who frequently focuses on high-performance vehicles, while Engelsman has built a reputation for his enthusiast-driven perspective and eclectic taste, including ownership of a Toyota Century limousine originally designed for Japanese royalty.
Bourgeois rose to global fame through viral TikTok clips documenting his passion for trainspotting, where he has built an audience approaching six million followers. Beyond social media, he is a trained mechanical engineer with previous experience working at Rolls-Royce and is known for identifying vehicles purely by the sound of their engines.
Speaking about joining the show, Bourgeois said the phrase “big shoes to fill” came to mind, adding that stepping into the role would feel “like Mo Farah running in size 14 wellies,” before calling the opportunity “an interesting watch.”
Engelsman joked about the unusual pairing, saying, “I’ve worked with Thomas for almost a decade, making car films. Who knew that all this time, the one ingredient that was missing was a Francis Bourgeois.”
Holland added that when he first heard the series was being rebooted, he initially thought “only a moron would take that job.”
Prime Video executive Tara Erer said the search for replacements had been extensive, describing the trio as “three standout talents” capable of carrying the franchise forward while preserving its adventurous tone.
Producer Andy Wilman echoed that sentiment, stating the new lineup was “in no way cardboard cutouts of the old three” and praising their chemistry.
