A South Korean airline has turned an airport waiting area into a choose-your-own meal with a new instant noodle library.
Korean Air has reopened its newly renovated Prestige East Lounge at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2, and one of the standout additions is a self-serve “ramyeon library” instant noodle station.
According to Korean Air’s official press release, the upgraded lounge allows premium passengers to pick from a range of instant noodles, broths, and toppings before cooking their own custom bowl on site, turning a quick snack into a full DIY experience ahead of long-haul flights.

The upgraded Prestige Lounge covers around 1,553 square meters and seats up to 192 guests, with the space redesigned to feel closer to a high-end hotel lobby than a traditional airline lounge.
Beyond the ramyeon station, the renovation also added a cooking studio with chef-led sessions, plus a small arcade area featuring games like air hockey and claw machines, giving travelers more to do while waiting to board.
The new lounge officially reopened on January 14 as part of Korean Air’s wider effort to modernize its premium airport spaces at Incheon, with more lounge upgrades planned through 2026.
So, for travelers flying out of Terminal 2 who are feeling pangs of hunger before their flight, the instant noodle library should help give you some flavour before heading off to your next destination.
