Popular streamer Tfue confirmed he had been banned from Arc Raiders on January 13 in a series of X/Twitter posts, stating he doesn’t know why the suspension was issued.
In his initial X post, Tfue shared a screenshot of the error message he received upon attempting to boot Embark’s popular extraction shooter.
“Your account has been temporarily suspended for behaviour that violates our code of conduct,” it read, followed by a notification that access would be restored on February 12, 2026.
He then followed that up with an in-game screenshot stating his account had been blocked as a result of activity violating the game’s Terms of Service.
Anti-cheat mistake could be the cause
With no official explanation, fans of the streamer have speculated that the ban was the result of Arc Raiders’ anti-cheat incorrectly flagging Tfue’s account for violating the game’s Terms of Service.
“It’s almost refreshing to know that the AI can’t tell the difference between a cheater and a good player,” said one user, adding, “It’s also frustrating knowing how many cheaters there are and all of all people it gets Tfue.”
In response to Tfue’s post, Shroud, who also frequently streams Arc Raiders, said, “F**k, this is genius bait.”
Embark has begun cracking down on cheating in Arc Raiders in 2026, with players reporting substantial ban waves on January 12. The action follows the studio’s acknowledgement that cheating had become an issue and confirmation that it would be addressed.
Tfue tagged Embark, asking for an explanation in his X posts. As of the time of writing, the developer hasn’t responded to the streamer.
