Popular streamer and former Valorant pro TenZ is speaking out against rumors surrounding his viral breakup with ex-fiance Kyedae.

Kyedae and TenZ announced their split in a joint statement on February 7, 2026 after seven years together. While the two confirmed their breakup had been both mutual and amicable, that didn’t stop rumors about their relationship from spreading online.

Many of the narratives posted by fans involved Kyedae’s cancer treatment; the streamer was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in March 2023 and underwent chemotherapy, which she successfully completed in September of that year.

In the midst of their public breakup, viewers began spreading unfounded claims that TenZ had allegedly donated his bone marrow to help Kyedae in her recovery. TenZ denied these claims, which had been popularized by a faked Google AI results image.

Kyedae and TenZ had been in a relationship for seven years before announcing their breakup in 2026.

Another rumor also gained traction on Reddit, where a user accused Kyedae of cheating on TenZ for months with John, the ex-boyfriend of fellow streamer 39Daph.

TenZ spoke out against these rumors in a tweet on February 9, calling the claims “disgusting” and urging viewers to stop spreading “blind hate” to push false narratives.

“John is a friend of both mine and Kyedae,” TenZ explained. “Just because they hung out on a trip that I was supposed to come out on, but had to cancel last minute WITH one of my best friends from high school there with them, who also is conveniently cropped out of the photo to once again push this crazy cheating story, is f**king wild.

“Maybe before people start speculating things in a relationship they have absolutely nothing to do with, they should focus on fixing their own insecurities so it’s not projected outwards.

“Also, I have absolutely no clue how people started saying I donated bone marrow to her when I most definitely did not. I legitimately cannot tell if this type of sh*t is just rage bait, but it’s genuinely pretty hard for me to get emotionally charged like this.”

While Kyedae has been relatively quiet on social media since revealing their breakup, this is the second time TenZ has addressed rumors about their split in the two days after posting.

On February 8, the former CS:GO pro shut down storylines spun by fans that claimed Kyedae had made him quit competitive gaming and that he had given “more” during the course of their relationship by supporting her cancer treatment.

“In a healthy relationship, there should never be comparisons about who sacrificed more or gave more — that mindset is immature and helps nobody,” he wrote.
