A streamer just stayed awake for 89 hours to 100 percent every 3D Zelda game ever made.
Finishing a single 3D Zelda game is already a commitment. Doing all of them back to back, at 100 percent completion, is an unhinged amount of time.
These games are huge in the way a casual plan turns into a life decision. Main stories take 25 to 40 hours, more if you linger. Go for 100 percent and Breath of the Wild alone can eat 180 hours, Tears of the Kingdom even more.
Do that seven times in a row without sleeping and you are looking at something almost no one would try. Almost.
A sleepless Zelda marathon that rewrote the record books
After six years of preparation, Twitch streamer Nukie has become the first person to complete every 3D Zelda game, from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, 100 percent in one continuous run. The marathon lasted 89 hours without sleep and wrapped up live on stream, with the final clear coming in Tears of the Kingdom.
The run covered seven games in total: Ocarina of Time (four hours and 19 seconds), Majora’s Mask (five hours, 12 minutes and 20 seconds), The Wind Waker (seven hours, 14 minutes, and 12 seconds), Twilight Princess (seven hours, 12 minutes, and 54 seconds), Skyward Sword (eight hours, 39 minutes, 34 seconds), Breath of the Wild (22 hours, 40 minutes, and 19 seconds), and Tears of the Kingdom (32 hours, 51 minutes, and 31 seconds. Every part of every game, main story, side quests, collectibles, upgrades.
Nukie said the goal started back in 2020 as a personal challenge, not a publicity stunt. She trained for years, predicted the run would land around 80 hours, and still pushed beyond that.
As people watching began to question her health, she clarified she had medical support, did not hallucinate or microsleep, and listened closely to her body throughout. She also stressed she actively discourages others from copying the attempt without serious precautions.
