NELK Boys’ SteveWillDoIt has revealed that he has finally been unbanned by YouTube and will be making his return after three years away.

Long-term bans from an online platform can, in some cases, be a death sentence for a creator’s career. They might try and move elsewhere, but it can be hard to replicate the same success that they once had.

SteveWillDoIt, one of the founding members of the NELK Boys, was hit with a ban from YouTube back in 2022 for violating community guidelines after showing the URL for the gambling platform Stake and promoting his second channel following its termination.

He has hit out at the platform over the years because of it, claiming some creators have been allowed to promote gambling platforms and get away with not being banned. Steve has long stated that he’d love to return to YouTube, and that is now finally happening.

SteveWillDoIt admits he has been “depressed” over YouTube ban

On November 18, Deleonardis announced that he has a new channel going live on December 24, and he’s planning to give $1 million away once he reaches 1 million subscribers.

“I’ll be straight up… I have been depressed the last 3 years losing my purpose … aka YOUTUBE,” he posted on Instagram. “Super happy and thankful for you guys.”

The new channel, which keeps the SteveWillDoIt name, has already reached around 20,000 subscribers following Steve’s announcement.

He’s also received hype from the likes of MrBeast, Bradley Martyn, and others who are looking forward to the return.

As noted, he has long talked about wanting to return to YouTube content. Steve told The Hollywood Fix in late October that he had a plan to return.

“Just be patient about it. I have a plan, and I really want to be like the biggest YouTuber,” he said. “You’re just going to see SteveWillDoIt on YouTube and its going to be every week, the same day, same time every week. It’s going to be very high-quality, entertaining stuff.”
