Oreo Reese’s Cookies have returned to grocery store shelves nationwide with the cookie candy crossover now confirmed as a permanent addition to Oreo’s lineup.
The sandwich cookies previously appeared as a limited release, most recently sold at Hershey’s retail stores across the US. After strong demand, the hybrid has now joined Oreo’s core portfolio alongside other new product launches rolling out this month.
At a glance, Oreo Reese’s Cookies resemble a standard Oreo. Inside, the sandwich combines Reese’s peanut butter creme with chocolate filling, mixed with Oreo cookie crumbs between the chocolate wafers.
Oreo Reese’s Cookies become a permanent grocery item
Fans were first reintroduced to the flavor mashup in August, when both Oreo Reese’s Cookies and Reese’s Oreo Cups launched as summer 2025 items. While the Reese’s Oreo Cups were later made a permanent Reese’s product, the cookies had not been confirmed for long-term availability until now.
With the January 5 rollout, Oreo Reese’s Cookies are now available nationwide as a permanent offering.
Alongside the Reese’s flavored return, Oreo has also expanded its Minis lineup with new packaging options hitting shelves at the same time.
The releases follow another recent expansion from Oreo’s parent brand, Nabisco. In December, the company announced Oreo Zero Sugar Cookies would arrive in the US for the first time.
