UFC legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was confronted on stream by fans over Raja Jackson’s attack on Syko Stu, with Jackson again saying there have been “threats” against him.
On August 23, Raja Jackson, the son of Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, attended an independent wrestling show at KnokX Pro. He took part in a planned stunt with wrestler Syko Stu, real name Stewart Smith, where Stu hit him with a drink.
After that, Jackson went off script, hopping into the ring to attack Smith. He delivered around 20 blows to the head and threw him to the ground, prompting other wrestlers to intervene and pull Jackson away.
A police investigation is underway, and Jackson has come under plenty of criticism online. The wrestlers involved in the situation have even called it “attempted murder.”
Rampage Jackson fans confront him over Raja attack
While Raja has been pretty quiet on things, his dad has been vocal about it, asking for Stu’s “forgiveness.”
He was also confronted about it during his August 28 stream. “What’s up with the Raja situation?” one fan asked. “Come on bro. Nah. Respectfully, shut the f*ck up. No, no handshake on that,” he replied. “Respectfully, shut the f*ck up. I’m dealing with that s*it.”
The UFC legend added, again, that his family has received threats over the incident. “I”m getting all racist threats and s*it. Motherf**kers talking about killing me and my whole family,” he continued.
Jackson urged the fans to “drop” talking about the Raja situation before telling them to “move on” and leave him alone. He walked away from them before long, continuing his stream elsewhere.
According to his family, Smith has regained consciousness in hospital and is “alert”. However, he still has some “very serious” injuries.
The Epic, real name Douglas Malo, was the wrestler who intervened during the attack. He said he is unsure if Smith will press charges against Jackson. However, Malo believes it was “attempted murder.”
