Surging content creator Quvonn Rakai Linder has been hit with a two-year suspension on Twitch. On one hand, it came immediately after losing a Fortnite wager to fellow streamer Clix and refusing to hold up his end of the agreement. On the other hand, it came a day after stealing flowers.
Despite being one of the fastest-rising content creators of 2025, 17-year-old RaKai has landed himself in trouble once again – this time resulting in a two-year ban on Twitch.
RaKai, known for his over-the-top antics, boasts over 1.8 million followers on the platform, and regularly streams to thousands of viewers on Twitch. However, he now finds his account restricted, though it’s unclear exactly what led to the ban.
RaKai banned on Twitch after Fortnite wager with Clix
The first thread to pull it stems from a competition with Fortnite personality Clix. RaKai was gifted a 99-0 lead, yet still lost, and as such, had to pay up an agreed-upon sum of $6,500 USD. RaKai quickly backtracked, refusing to pay Clix, and seemingly violating Twitch’s Community Guidelines in the process.
Clix frequently runs these wagers, flexing his Fortnite skills as he secures 100 kills in a row over other popular personalities. On December 2, it was RaKai in the hot seat, and the pair agreed on a $6,500 wager.
Upon losing, having died 100 times in a row without getting a kill, Clix had secured the victory royale. However, RaKai refused to pay up. “Guess who not getting they money?[sic]” he said. “You, you ugly b****h. F*** you,” he yelled.
Soon after, RaKai’s stream was struck offline. The next word came through X (formerly Twitter), as he shared an image of a warning for “Illegal Activities” on his Twitch account.
RaKai under fire after stealing flowers
The other possibility came 24 hours prior, when RaKai streamed himself stealing flowers before handing them to a bystander without paying.
“Did you already pay for them?” The woman asked. “Yes I did,” RaKai replied without hesitation.
This incident came amid a similar Twitch ban as Nina Lin was struck off the platform after stealing from Target while streaming for all to see.
RaKai banned for two years on Twitch
The warning outlines a 730-day suspension, coming to an end on December 2, 2027. During that time, it appears RaKai is unable to stream, as visiting his account leads to a typical ban message.
Not the first time RaKai has been in trouble with Twitch, as his own image shows, this marks the sixth time his account has ‘violated’ the platform’s rules.
Back in June, the 17-year-old was banned after streaming himself driving while regularly looking down at his phone.
Others, like Adin Ross, have managed to overturn long-running bans on Twitch. Only time will tell if RaKai is able to do the same or if he’ll continue his streaming career elsewhere.
