Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys made a TikTok with American rapper Mark Tuan, sparking rumors of a “soft launch” and convincing viewers the two are secretly dating.
Pokimane has been famously tight-lipped about her love life over the years, only lifting the lid on her past relationships in humorous anecdotes during podcast episodes or in brief moments for a vlog.
Despite working hard to keep her personal life private, Pokimane has been forced to respond to fan rumors from time to time, including a recent theory that sparked after she appeared alongside American rapper and former Kpop star Mark Tuan.
Mark Tuan is a prominent artist who debuted in 2014 with Korean boy band Got7, writing raps and lyrics for the group. Since then, he’s gone solo, and has focused on his own personal projects.

On November 19, the 32-year-old artist appeared in a TikTok with Pokimane, where the two recreated the ‘Ocean Eyes’ trend that’s become popular on the app.
In the video, Pokimane lipsyncs to Billie Eilish’s ‘Ocean Eyes’ song while posing next to Tuan before covering the camera with her fingers to transition back to a solo clip of herself.
Fans’ interest was piqued instantly, with a top commenter asking, “What’s Mark Tuan doing here?”
“Being a very nice and sweet guy,” the streamer replied.
“Is this a soft launch?” another asked, wondering if Pokimane was subtly confirming a romantic relationship with Tuan.
A day later, Pokimane uploaded another TikTok video responding to this comment, confirming that she refuses to go public with a relationship unless she is officially married.
“Let me clear this up once and for all,” she began. “The only soft launch you will ever see from me is a ring on my finger. Okay? A man in my life is but a man in my life until he’s my husband.
“I work a little bit like a government form. You know how the only statuses available are like, ‘Single, married, divorced?’ That’s how I am with the public. Okay, thank you.”
This is the latest look into Pokimane’s love life that fans have gotten after the streamer opened up about her “interesting” breakup with a long-term partner in summer 2024, which some viewers speculated was the same guy she’d posted a ‘relationship contract’ with in 2022.
