PepsiCo are making some signature Super Bowl Sunday snacks a little cheaper this year. However, you’ll need to act fast.
Each year, before Super Bowl Sunday comes around, NFL fans across the globe stock up on food, drinks, and snacks to get them through the action. There are plenty of traditional choices like chicken wings, chips and dip, nachos, and hot dogs.
Plenty of fans like to stock up well in advance and will get themselves prepared, especially if they’re having friends and family over to watch the game. It’s something that might cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, especially if you’re one of those fans who likes to go all to get behind your favorite team – or if you just want to watch the commercials.
This year, though, PepsiCo are making things a little cheaper, reducing the prices of some signature snacks.
Doritos, Cheetos, and more snacks are cheaper for the big game
That’s right, if you like to stock up on Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, and more, you’ll find that PepsiCo have slashed suggested retail prices across the United States.
“Lowering the suggested retail price reflects our commitment to help reduce the pressure where we can. Because people shouldn’t have to choose between great taste and staying within their budget,” said Rachel Ferdinando, CEO of PepsiCo Foods U.S.
“Lowering prices is one step – an important one – in our commitment to deliver for consumers and strengthen our brands for the future.”
As Ferdinando notes, while PepsiCo have cut the suggested retail prices, some stores may ignore that and go with their own pricing. So, you may have to shop around to get the best deal ahead of the big game
However, if you leave it late, you might find that your local store is out of your go-tos. So, make sure you get out there with plenty of time and don’t leave it too late.
