A quick-thinking off-duty police officer is going viral for rushing to help a disoriented man who fell onto the subway tracks of the Barcelona Metro.
The frightening incident took place in November 2025, but CCTV footage was shared to social media in December, going viral in Spanish-speaking social media spaces. It has now spread to English-speaking areas of the internet, drawing praise for the officer’s heroic actions.
On November 25, off-duty Catalonia police officer Felisa Pozas was waiting for the subway at the Barcelona metro when she spotted a man stumbling around the platform nearby.
Cameras at the scene show Pozas looking visibly concerned as she watched him walk away. Sensing something was wrong, she pushed the ‘SOS’ intercom at the station and alerted officials about what was happening.
Seconds later, the man lost his balance and tumbled over the edge of the platform onto the tracks below, where he lay completely motionless. Feli and three other bystanders sprang into action, rushing to the tracks to help drag the man back to safety before the subway arrived.

A crowd of people made their way over to the man to assess the situation before the clip ended. The video was shared to Spanish social media on December 12, and went viral on English Reddit page ‘interestingasf*ck‘ in January 2026.
Users took to the comments section to praise Pozas’s quick thinking and selfless act of bravery, with one writing on Reddit, “Nice to know that good people are still around.”
“That woman is badass,” another wrote. “She was down there first to help, vaulted herself back up off the tracks, and didn’t even lose her bag. QUEEN!”
“Someone promote that woman,” another suggested.
News reports state that the man was transported to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. No other information about his health has been released at the time of writing, and investigators are still looking into the incident.
Speaking to Spanish outlet RTVE, Pozas explained her thought process at the time of the fall. “I didn’t hesitate for a moment. I ran out and went down to the tracks with the intention of helping the man to try to prevent him from suffering further injuries,” she said.
Pozas is being praised for her quick thinking after a clip showing her saving a man from the Barcelona metro tracks went viral.
This is the latest story of a good Samaritan going viral after a Kick streamer stopped to help the victims of a car crash in Downtown Los Angeles, which happened in the middle of his broadcast.
And in 2020, a streamer helped an elderly woman in Japan who was lost and “confused,” walking around the streets at night in her nightgown. The streamer escorted her to a nearby convenience store and phoned the police to bring her back home safely.
