Nutella, the beloved hazelnut chocolate spread, will soon be available in ice cream form in the United States when the company brings its frozen chocolate dessert to North America for the first time.

The new frozen desserts are rolling out with the help of Wells Enterprises, marking Nutella’s North American ice cream debut. The launch includes two new treats: Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert, available in both pints and cones.

Shipments to convenience distributors start on December 1, 2025, with a wider retail rollout planned for spring 2026.

The pints will reportedly feature a thick layer of Nutella on top, creamy hazelnut ice cream swirled with Nutella throughout, and another layer at the bottom. The cones come topped with Nutella, with a surprise Nutella-filled tip for the finishing bite.

Nutella ice cream is finally on the way

“Wells has a century of ice cream expertise and a passion for innovation,” said Isabella Chia, Chief Marketing Officer at Wells Enterprises.

And it sounds like there will be plenty of more Nutella products on the way in the near future.

“Nutella Ice Cream and Kinder Bueno Frozen Dessert are just the beginning of a pipeline of bold new concepts designed to keep convenience-store and grocery freezers exciting and profitable.”

This line first launched in Europe last summer to celebrate Nutella’s 60th anniversary and quickly became a hit across the U.K., Italy, and Germany.

For ice cream lovers curious about a more absurd taste, numerous desserts have made a splash in 2025 including breast milk-flavored ice cream and a KFC Gravy Gellato.

Even Taco Bell got in on the action by releasing the Tacolate, a revamped version of the beloved Choco Taco.
