Rising star ‘TheBurntPeanut’ beat out top virtual streamers like Pekora and IronMouse to earn the title of 2025’s most-watched VTuber.

TheBurntPeanut is exactly who you’d imagine him to be. He’s a Twitch streamer who uses a Snapchat-style face filter to make himself look like a peanut, showing only his real eyes and mouth with exaggerated proportions.

His antics in games like Arc Raiders and Escape from Tarkov have earned him over 1.5 million followers on Twitch, and even won him VTuber of the Year at the 2025 Streamer Awards over powerhouse nominees like chibidoki, IronMouse, and Mori Calliope.

While his popularity spiked in late 2025 thanks to his viral ‘battle of the Bungulators‘ in Arc Raiders, he’s become so famous that he’s outdoing other top streamers in the VTuber category, standing as last year’s most-watched VTuber.

StreamsCharts credits TheBurntPeanut’s multistreaming strategy for rocketing him to the top of the VTuber category, noting that he broadcasts on Twitch, YouTube, and Kick to greatly broaden his audience.

Twitch is by far his most popular platform, responsible for 50.5% of his viewership, while YouTube took up 48.3%. Kick only made up 1.2% of his total hours watched.

TheBurntPeanut’s inclusion in the VTuber category has been a touchy subject for both fans and streamers in the genre; his win at the 2025 Streamer Awards was met with controversy and sparked a heated online debate, especially after VTubing star IronMouse came to his defense.

Peanut himself has been staunchly vocal about the situation, hitting back at haters and describing IronMouse’s critics as “40-year-old men cosplaying as 15-year-old anime girls.”
