YouTube superstar Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson said he will help NewJeans if it “makes sense” amid a viral campaign from fans of the K-pop group.

Over the last few months, Danielle Marsh, one part of the K-pop group NewJeans, has been the subject of a lawsuit from their record label ADOR.

The record label sued Marsh for around $30 million after she reportedly informed them of her intention to end the exclusivity contract they had. ADOR won a suit back in October, as the courts ruled that NewJeans would have to see out their contract with the label. That deal is set to expire in 2029.

Since then, fans of NewJeans have been flooding MrBeast’s social media accounts with #MrBeastSaveNewJeans, leaving the YouTube superstar to question if he is able to buy them out of their contract.

JasonTheWeen suggests MrBeast buy ADOR to help NewJeans

Speaking further to JasonTheWeen about the situation, Donaldson said he’d help if it “makes sense” to do so after Jason suggested buying ADOR as a whole.

“They really want us to (help),” Donaldson said. “Would you maybe consider buying ADOR or buying NewJeans?” Jason asked.

“The number I keep seeing is $30 million. It’s a lot of money, but if it makes sense, I guess if that’s what the internet needs, and that will help bring them together. Is that what they want?” MrBeast answered.

Some have suggested that bringing MrBeast into the situation is just fans trying to raise awareness. Though, there have been some serious suggestions about him forking over tens of millions to appease fans.

As Jason also pointed out, the ADOR label is under the umbrella of HYBE, the massive Korean multinational entertainment company.

The streamer suggested there is “not much” MrBeast can do on that front, because owning HYBE “is not a realistic outcome,” but getting into ADOR is perhaps a tad more possible.

It remains to be seen as to what the outcome of everything will be, seeing as ADOR’s lawsuit against Marsh is still ongoing.
