MrBeast surprised a 12-year-old fan with a custom bionic arm – called a ‘Beast Arm’ – to assist with everyday activities.
As the biggest content creator walking the Earth today, there are hundreds of millions of eyeballs on every little thing MrBeast says or does. Even when helping heal dozens of people’s ailments, he’s still the center of controversy more often than not.
However, that hasn’t stopped his philanthropic efforts. Far from it. At the tail end of 2025, he made a visit to a clinic in Austin, Texas, to help one particularly troubled fan.
12-year-old Kai Pollnitz was shocked to see the YouTuber in the flesh, and even more surprised when he was gifted a one-of-one bionic arm themed around MrBeast and his visual designs.

Kai Pollnitz was born without a right hand, as a press release from Open Bionics detailed. That didn’t stop him from pursuing all manner of sports, and plenty of gaming too, but as he entered middle school, he allegedly became the subject of bullying.
“People usually try to tell me what I can’t do,” the 12-year-old said.
Although Kai’s adoptive parents researched a number of prosthetic options, health insurance wouldn’t cover the costs. This led to a crowdfunding campaign, but ultimately it didn’t bear fruit. It wasn’t until MrBeast’s team caught wind of the situation that it came to fruition.
MrBeast teamed with Open Bionics, a US company that has partnered with the likes of Disney in the past for branded prosthetics. Together, they made a one-off design centered on MrBeast’s visual identity, including the panther logo along with vibrant blue and pink coloring.

Told he was simply heading to a routine checkup in December, 2025, Kai was left stunned when MrBeast entered the room and gifted him his custom bionic arm.
“He kept whispering, ‘Mama, is this real? Is that really MrBeast?’” Kai’s adopted mother, Charlotte Pollnitz, said.
