YouTube icon Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has officially unveiled the release date for the second season of his Amazon Prime show, ‘Beast Games,’ as well as the huge ‘city’ he built for a set.
MrBeast never does anything halfway. The 27-year-old YouTube star, who boasts the most-subscribed channel on the platform, is famous for his elaborate sets, extreme challenges, and exceedingly generous cash prizes.
He took his internet stardom to the next level in late 2024 with the debut of his very own game show on Amazon Prime. Dubbed ‘Beast Games,’ the show pitted 1,000 contestants against each other in a series of high-stakes competitions for a $5 million award.
This year, he’s upping the ante even more, revealing that he’d constructed a huge ‘city’ for contestants to live in for the second season of the show. Here’s everything we know so far.
MrBeast reveals release date for Beast Games Season 2
On November 20, 2025, MrBeast dropped some additional details about Beast Games Season 2, along with some photos of the set.
The pictures show a futuristic stadium of sorts, complete with swimming pools, a basketball court, a lounge area, and what appear to be two separate ‘stages,’ presumably for some of the challenges involved in the show.
Additionally, MrBeast confirmed that this season will have far fewer contestants than the first. In March 2025, the YouTuber put out an open casting call for the world’s “strongest” and “smartest” people to participate in the unscripted series.
“100 of the strongest and 100 of the smartest people on earth compete for over $10,000,000 in prizes in the most insane games ever created,” he described the forthcoming season.
This means that he’s doubled last year’s cash prize — but with fewer people to compete for it, there’s no telling how events will unfold.
Donaldson announced that Beast Games Season 2 will air on January 7, 2026, on Prime Video.
Beast Games has already seen massive success; in fact, shortly after its debut in early 2025, the first season became the most-watched unscripted Amazon Prime series, garnering over 50 million views across 240 countries.
This is the latest massive project to come from the YouTube mogul after he unveiled his very own ‘Beast Land’ theme park in Saudi Arabia.
