YouTube star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has apologized for some of his recent YouTube uploads, promising to do much better in 2026.
Over the last few years, MrBeast has led the way on YouTube. He has dethroned Felix ‘PewDiePie’ Kjellberg as the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform, and raised the game when it comes to production quality and the size of his videos.
Donaldson has, at times, come under fire for his videos though. His charitable videos have routinely been the source of much contention, but after admitting to moving away from his previous video formula, he has focused on the “new MrBeast” style of content.
“Less screaming, slower, more story, emotion,” he told a fan back in September. Now, with 2025 coming to an end, he has promised to “take stuff to a whole new level,” in the new year.

“After some reflection, I just want to say I think some of our newer YouTube videos haven’t been as good as I wanted. I apologize,” Donaldson posted on November 26. “Ya boy is going to go into ultra grind mode and make the greatest content of my life in 2026. Promise.”
That prompted some supportive responses from fans, with many saying that his videos have been as good as ever.
“Appreciate it, but I’m going to take this stuff to a whole new level,” the YouTube star said, replying to one fan.
Jimmy has not lifted the lid on what he has in mind to take things to “a whole new level,” but he has recently achieved a new Guinness World Record for the largest continuous LED video floor.
That is being used in the second season of his Beast Games series on Amazon Prime Video, but it may sneak into his YouTube content at some point. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
