Mizkif has announced that he is officially leaving Twitch in favor of broadcasting on Kick, a decision that follows accusations of abusive behavior from fellow streamer and ex-girlfriend Emiru.

Mizkif pulled out all the stops for an elaborate, special-effects-filled skit where he faced off with three Jedi knights in a carefully choreographed lightsaber duel on December 15.

After nearly getting defeated by the trio of Jedi, Ice Poseidon, cloaked in dark Sith garb, defeats them with force lightning and urges Mizkif to “join the Dark Side” while holding out a lightsaber.

Looking into the camera, Mizkif takes the green saber and activates it, revealing the Kick logo and a URL for his channel on the streaming service.

Mizkif “joins the Dark Side” in surprise Kick announcement

Over on X, Mizkif captioned the advertisement, “Goodbye Twitch, forever.” Viewers have taken this to mean that Mizkif is essentially ‘retiring’ from streaming on the purple platform, choosing to join Ice Poseidon on Kick, instead.

Mizkif has even updated his X account to reflect these changes, changing his profile photo to a picture of him as a child wearing Jedi garb. His banner image is a still from Obi-Wan’s battle with Anakin in Revenge of the Sith. His bio reads, “Still owner, now in lawsuit.”

Mizkif’s bio reflects his current legal battle with Emiru, who notably accused him of abusive behavior during a tell-all broadcast in late October.

In her stream, Emiru accused him of sexual assault, abuse, and blackmail, claiming that he threatened her through third parties. “At TwitchCon, he approached one of my employees, threatening them and saying if I ever talked about him, he would destroy me,” she said.

Mizkif hit back in a broadcast of his own, where he admitted to exhibiting “controlling” behavior toward Emiru, but denied “lingering” around her after their breakup.

He later filed a lawsuit against both Emiru and OTK, who came out in support of Emiru and confirmed that Mizkif had been completely removed from the company with “no stake” in it financially.

Thus far, no official date has been set for Mizkif’s debut stream on Kick, leaving audiences curious to see where this new decision will take him.
