McDonald’s France has introduced a new Wednesday-themed menu item in a collaboration with Netflix.
The limited-time meal features a burger, side, and a drink, alongside a new Obscure McFlurry and a “Black Tears” sauce. Customers will also receive one of four collectible figurines tied to the promotion.
The new meal is designed around the Wednesday series’ gothic style, with packaging and branding featuring elements from Nevermore Academy. McDonald’s France described it as a meal crafted for fans of the show and collectors.
McDonald’s France launches Wednesday meal
Popular food-focused Instagrammer Snackolator shared some information about the meal in a post on September 3, revealing more information about the new sauce and McFlurry.
“The Wednesday meal comes with one of four figures along with Sugar Free Wildberry Fanta, new Black Tears Pepper Sauce, and then they have a McFlurry with Kit-Kat balls and a blueberry coulis,” he said.
McDonald’s isn’t the first fast food restaurant to release a Wednesday meal over the last couple of months, either.
Wendy’s released its “Meal of Misfortune” back in July 2025, alongside a new sauce, Frosty, and mystery sauces for the nuggets and fries.
While McDonald’s US isn’t getting the Wednesday meal, there have been a few announcements from the massive company.
Its new limited-edition ‘Gold Sauce’ launches on September 3 alongside a new Snack Wrap flavor, and its Extra Value Meals launch five days later.
