Logan Paul has been mocked by WWE fans for making a pretty big mistake with John Cena that forced Netflix to edit part of the show.

Over the last few years, Logan Paul has gotten increasingly more involved with WWE. ‘The Maverick’ is pretty much a full-time professional wrestler these days and has earned praise from fans, wrestlers, and reviewers alike.

As he’s become more ingrained in the WWE world, Logan has been pushed into some pretty big positions. He has wrestled for numerous titles, beaten some massive names, and been a key part of massive shows – including the WWE’s debut on Netflix.

He is, currently, in his biggest storyline yet, taking on John Cena during the WWE legend’s final few months. The pair are set to meet in the ring during their Clash in Paris live event, but the build-up has been a little rocky.

Logan Paul punch on John Cena edited for Netflix

During the August 22 episode of Friday Night Smackdown, the imPaulsive host missed a pretty key punch on Cena, and it didn’t take long for the internet to spot it.

In fact, the shot that went out live at the time was actually different from the one that Netflix ended up using in the tape delay version of the show, which prompted a bit of mockery and backlash.

“God, that whiff was so massive, you could fit a Prime bottle where the space was,” one fan said. “That’s embarrassing should’ve just kept the first one,” another commented. “Get this guy out of the company,” added another. “His punches always look bad to me,” another chimed in.

Some fans argued that the blame was on the camera crew, not Logan, but understood why the reshoot was needed. Others, however, believed the first attempt was fine anyway.

“The retake is much better tbh. I like how Paul pushes Nick aside so he can punch John. Gives him more of a heel vibe,” one said, praising Logan’s work.
