Netflix and The LEGO Group have officially announced a new collaboration tied to breakout animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, confirming that the franchise is heading into brick form later this year.

According to a teaser on LEGO’s Instagram, the first LEGO set is scheduled to launch in summer 2026 and will center on Derpy, the supernatural creature from the film, with more sets planned for 2027.

The announcement comes as the movie continues to post major viewership and music milestones following its debut last June.

According to the company, the debut build is designed for ages 9+ and is intended for both play and display. Additional releases are already in development for 2027, which will expand the LEGO KPop Demon Hunters lineup with new sets and characters.

Lena Dixen, SVP, Product Group, Core Businesses at The LEGO Group, said:

“We are over the (hon)moon about this new collaboration! KPop Demon Hunters and LEGO fans will finally get to combine their passions and immerse themselves in the world of KPop Demon Hunters through LEGO building. The movie has taken the entire world by storm, and we just couldn’t wait to work with Netflix on this one. We hope fans will be as excited about the sets as we are!”

Marian Lee, Chief Marketing Officer at Netflix, said: “As KPop Demon Hunters continues to break records both on and off screen, we’re delighted to continue expanding this world IRL and partner with the LEGO Group for a brand new collection of beautifully designed and authentically-detailed sets – FOR THE FANS.”

Since debuting last June, KPop Demon Hunters has surpassed 500 million views on Netflix. The movie follows K-pop superstars HUNTR/X, who balance stadium-selling tours with secret lives as demon hunters protecting fans from supernatural threats, while facing off against rival boy band Saja Boys, who are demons in disguise.

The film’s soundtrack has also driven major chart success, led by the song Golden. The track spent ten weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking HUNTR/X as the first K-pop girl group to achieve that milestone. Over the same weekend, the song also became the first K-pop release to win a Grammy Award.
