Kick streamer Lionel ‘lildealy’ Howse has been arrested in Canada after allegedly abusing his dog on stream, following weeks of viral outrage and an animal cruelty investigation.

On September 10, Canadian Border Patrol officers took Howse into custody as he returned from the United States. Authorities say he has been charged with uttering threats against animals and willfully causing unnecessary pain, suffering, or injury to an animal.

Back in August, disturbing clips of the Kick streamer surfaced in which he threatened to kill his dog, Peachers, saying he would “snap her neck.”

In one video, a woman could reportedly be heard pleading with him to stop hitting the animal as cries were heard in the background.

Kick streamer arrested after viewers report alleged animal abuse

The first police response came on August 16 after officers were called to investigate an animal complaint. That same day, journalist and self-described “animal warrior” Paul Mueller published a compilation of the alleged abuse, urging citizens to demand police action.

Animal advocacy pages, including Fur Warriors, tracked Howse’s movements to a streaming event in Texas and contacted Austin police about the broadcasts.

According to Fur Warriors, Austin Police showed up at Lionel’s hotel for a wellness check after receiving calls, but left, leaving Peaches in his possession.

It wasn’t until his return to Canada that the police acted. Authorities confirmed that upon Howse’s trip back to Canada, border officers arrested him. Police said the dog would have been seized by animal services, but its current condition has not been disclosed.

Howse was last live on Kick on September 9, appearing with the dog while traveling. Despite the charges, his channel remains active at the time of writing and Kick has yet to issue a ban.
