Kai Cenat is once again at the center of online discussion after his assistant leaked private messages and a phone recording in response to a YouTube video posted by Cenat’s ex-girlfriend addressing rumors surrounding their breakup.
The situation began when Gabrielle Alayah, also known as GiGi, uploaded a video titled “The Real,” in which she addressed weeks of online speculation about her former relationship with Kai. In the hour-and-a-half-long video, GiGi denied cheating allegations, pushed back on claims she was financially dependent on Kai, and accused people around him of misrepresenting events that led to their breakup.
GiGi specifically disputed rumors that she had been involved with NBA YoungBoy, calling the claims false and disrespectful. She also addressed screenshots circulating online that appeared to show messages describing a secret trip to Las Vegas and emotional conversations with another man.
GiGi said the messages were fabricated, claiming she had never traveled to Las Vegas with anyone during her relationship with Kai and insisting her phone contained no evidence of infidelity.
Kai Cenat relationship drama rekindled
GiGi further criticized Kai’s inner circle, including his assistant, accusing them of inserting themselves into her relationship and influencing how the breakup was framed publicly. She argued that relationship issues should have remained private and said she felt unfairly targeted after Kai distanced himself publicly.
Shortly after the video circulated, Kai’s assistant Brianna Lewis responded by posting a recorded phone call and screenshots of Instagram DMs she claimed were sent by GiGi on X.
Bri alleged the messages showed GiGi communicating with another man while involved with Kai and said she chose to release the material after feeling GiGi’s video left out key context.
Bri said she began working with Kai when he was 19 and had no management, describing her role as protecting him from manipulation in both business and personal situations. She claimed Kai discovered the alleged messages himself and accused GiGi of attempting to coordinate a narrative afterward.
GiGi quickly responded on Instagram, reposting the leaked DMs and claiming they were fake.
She argued that the formatting of the username alone proved the messages were not legitimate and reiterated that the Vegas references in the screenshots did not match her travel history. In follow-up posts, she said the situation being referenced was not recent.
The controversy comes weeks after Kai publicly stated he is single. On December 27, he tweeted, “I’m single I will never be in another relationship again.” He has also been on a streaming hiatus since the end of Mafiathon 3 and has not addressed either GiGi’s YouTube video or Bri’s leaked materials directly.
