Kai Cenat is leading the charge as Twitch’s most-watched American streamer of 2025, boasting nearly double the viewership of the broadcaster in second place, Asmongold.
2025 has been a massive year on Twitch. From IShowSpeed’s action-packed tour across the United States to Caseoh’s hilarious Waterpark Simulator saga, there’s hardly ever a dull moment on the streaming platform.
However, one broadcaster rose above all others in terms of pure viewership, and it’s not even close.
Kai Cenat is the most-watched American streamer on Twitch
On December 10, Streams Charts published their list of the most-watched US-based Twitch streamers of 2025 using data that they’d collected throughout the year.
The streamer who took first place was none other than Kai Cenat, who raked in an eye-watering 134.4 million hours watched.
This year was a hugely successful one for Kai, who broke his own subscriber record during his massively viral Mafiathon 3 streaming marathon, surpassing 728,600 subs in a new first for Twitch.
And earlier this year, he organized Streamer University, a live event that brought up-and-coming broadcasters together to teach them about making content in a school-style setting. He even got Drake to make an appearance, who gave graduates a stirring speech to congratulate them for their hard work.
Cenat was also honored for his efforts at the 2025 Streamer Awards, where he took home the award for Best Marathon Stream for Mafiathon 3.
In fact, Kai’s overall viewership this year is so high that it’s nearly double that of the second-place streamer, Asmongold, who weighs in at 76.53 million hours watched.
Behind him are Hasan with 71 million hours watched, Jynxzi with 65.6 million hours watched, and Caseoh with 55 million hours watched, respectively. Lacy, Jasontheween, summit1g, stableronaldo, and DDG round out the bottom 5.
StreamsChartsMany viewers noted that DDG was the only broadcaster in the Top 10 who was nominated for Best Breakout Streamer at the Streamer Awards. Given that this is his first year focusing on streaming full-time, his 28 million hours watched is a major achievement, and his fans were quick to congratulate him, making big predictions for his future success.
Kai’s first-place ranking doesn’t come as a huge surprise, though, given he also scored the title of most-viewed Twitch streamer in the entire world, beating out Spanish powerhouse Ibai by nearly double the hours viewed.
