Jynxzi has become the most subscribed streamer on Twitch yet again, overtaking Vedal987 to take the top spot on the platform.
Vedal had only recently reached number one earlier this month, when the AI VTuber creator’s channel surpassed every human streamer on Twitch earlier in January.
That surge followed a record-breaking broadcast which saw the channel rack up over 162k subscriptions during a massive Hype Train run. The milestone was tied to Vedal’s AI VTuber project, Neuro-sama, which debuted on Twitch in 2019 before being relaunched as a full VTuber in late 2022.
At the time of writing, Jynxzi has 81,676 subscribers while Vedal sits in second place with 75,491. CaseOh, Hasan, and ChristinaandAmber round out the top five.
How Vedal987 previously reached the top
Vedal’s climb to the summit came during a stream that shattered Twitch’s Hype Train records, pushing the feature to level 126 and eclipsing previous benchmarks on the platform.
As soon as he found out about the AI VTuber’s massive achievement, Jynxzi reacted on stream, expressing surprise at Neuro-sama’s rise.
“You’re saying Vedal987 is not real? I’ve never even heard of that. That is the future of streaming bro. Dude, I’m bewildered bro. Game is game, I guess. 158,000 gifted subscriptions to an Artificial Intelligence VTuber that non-stop, 24/7 streams,” he said.
Since the re-launch in 2022, Neuro-sama has gone viral multiple times, including one clip where she questioned her own purpose and existence.
