Jenna Marbles’ husband, Julien Solomita, has confirmed that the couple’s dog, Mr Marbles, has died at the age of 17, sharing the news in an Instagram post.
Solomita posted the update on December 19, writing a farewell message to the Chihuahua, who appeared frequently in Jenna’s YouTube videos until she left the platform in 2020.
The Instagram post shared by Solomita thanked Marbles for “years of love and protection,” while also referencing how closely the dog was bonded to Jenna.

Solomita’s message, which was accompanied by a picture of Marbles, read, “Mr. Marbles. Thank you for showing me what it truly means to ride or die. I love you almost as much as you loved Jenna. thanks for all the years of love and protection. Rest easy, chip.”
Solomita had previously confirmed on a Twitch stream about Mr Marbles’ declining health that the dog was nearing “end of life,” explaining it had been emotionally overwhelming for both him and Jenna to manage his care.
Mr Marbles was a longtime fixture in Jenna Marbles’ videos throughout her decade-long YouTube career before she stepped back from social media in 2020, but continued to appear on Solomita’s streams and content as well.
