YouTuber and streamer Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami Beach, according to police records and footage of the arrest. The 20-year-old creator was taken into custody outside a smoke shop early Friday morning.
Doherty is known for his livestreams and high-profile content collaborations, building an audience of more than 13 million followers across TikTok and Instagram and 15 million subscribers on YouTube. He has recently been streaming through the platform Parti, and hours before the arrest he broadcast footage from a yacht in Miami.
Miami Beach Police cuffed Doherty outside a smoke shop and booked him into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center shortly before 9 a.m. local time on November 15, 2025. He was arrested on three charges: possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest.
Police say amphetamine and marijuana were recovered
According to the arrest details cited by TMZ, officers say Doherty was found in possession of amphetamine, a medication typically prescribed for conditions such as ADHD and narcolepsy. Police also reported recovering less than 20 grams of marijuana.
Footage circulating online shows Doherty surrounded by officers near a patrol vehicle. The clips, which appears to have been filmed by a bystander, shows police placing him in handcuffs before transporting him from the scene.
Doherty’s bond was set at $3,500.
In the hours leading up to the arrest, Doherty streamed live on Parti and posted new footage from Miami. His recent broadcasts have documented travel and lifestyle content, including appearances with other influencers and clips filmed around luxury cars and rental properties.
Doherty gained widespread attention starting in 2017 after posting videos of himself flipping objects and performing stunts that quickly went viral. Over the years he has built one of the most visible followings among young lifestyle creators on short-form and live-streaming platforms.
