Streaming star IShowSpeed was left stunned after finding out that a fan was trying to sell an apple that he had signed for $500 just a day after they met.
IShowSpeed’s massive streaming tours have given fans the chance to meet their favorite streamer in person. Some have been pretty chill about it, but others have gone a bit too far, damaging his rental cars and forcing police to break up their meet-ups.
When some fans get the chance to meet Speed, they naturally want an autograph or selfie. Just appearing alongside the streamer on his broadcast isn’t enough; they want a personal touch as well.
During his current tour, Speed has been traveling across the United States. As ever, he’s met hundreds of fans and signed a few interesting items – including a green apple.
IShowSpeed signed apple sells for $500
That came during the Boston part of his tour, as the streamer was asked by a fan to sign a custom t-shirt with his face on it, and a green apple.
A day later, Speed was alerted to the fact that the apple had gone up for sale on eBay with an asking price of $500. He was completely shocked.
“Bro, I signed a green apple, and he sold it for $500! Yo, do I need to stop signing s*it?” he said. “This dude sold a green apple on eBay for $500. I signed that yesterday? What the hell! That was yesterday!”
As per Dexerto’s last check of eBay, the green apple listing is long gone, but there are plenty of other signed pieces out there.
There are more conventional items like trading cards, signed football shirts, and bottles of prime. Nothing, however, matches the uniqueness of a signed apple.
The signed shirts are the most expensive items out there, with some reaching around $600 in current bids. There are also signed photos that are just a bit cheaper at $500.
