YouTube star IShowSpeed has reflected on his streaming tour of Africa, calling it “life-changing” as he has pledged to further help some of the countries he visited.

Over the last few years, IShowSpeed has ditched his usual at home streams of playing FIFA and chatting on Omegle, focusing on massive streaming tours across the globe.

Speed has ticked off tours of Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, and parts of Asia, but his most-requested tour from fans focused on Africa. At the start of 2026, Speed finally fulfilled that request, visiting 20 countries in under a month.

The tour, which was a pretty big one for Speed as he passed the 50 million subscriber mark on YouTube, has already been confirmed to make a return in the future.

IShowSpeed says Africa tour was eye-opening

Reflecting on the tour coming to a close, Speed called the experience ‘life-changing’ and said it had opened his eyes.

“This tour changed my life, bro. This tour changed my life for the better, seriously. This tour set open my eyes and it sparked something deep within me,” Speed told viewers. “It kind of talked to me in terms of like, I can do this.

“Obviously, I’ve already been doing it but I can do this. It’s more personal, you know? To come back to the motherland and stream it all, 20 countries in 28 days, it’s miraculous. I’m so glad that I get to experience this with y’all, like, honestly. I thank everybody who watched this whole tour.”

Speed added that the “love” he felt throughout the tour is something he wants to pay back in a big way.

“We met so many people and did so many things, I do want to… I’m thinking about giving back to the communities that showed me this much love,” he said. “I will be launching a donation campaign to support local organizations and people in some of the places I visited.”

The streaming star said more details on that would be shared following his tour, but fans will have a big role to play on that front.

Speed also promised to keep doing his big tours for those fans who are unable to travel and experience different countries and cultures for themselves.
