GFUEL has caused confusion online after posting a message on September 2 that led many to believe the company was shutting down, with the statement saying it’s the “end of an era.”

The post on social media read: “After years of shaking things up, fueling the grind, and rewriting the rules, it’s the end of an era.” The message thanked fans for their support over the years, saying GFUEL had been there for “late nights, big wins, impossible comebacks, and unforgettable moments.”

It ended with: “Every tub cracked, every shaker raised, every memory made… we’ve felt the love every step of the way. So, to everyone who’s been a part of it thank you, we love you. Logging out.”

Is GFUEL going out of business?

No, GFUEL is not going out of business.

The company has announced that a new “era” of the brand will launch in September 2025, and includes both a new formula and an overall branding change.

“Uh Oh! The news has dropped!” reads a page on the GFUEL website. “We’re launching a brand new formula. Be the first to taste the new wave – September 2025.”

“We took your feedback, fired up the lab, and reengineered our Energy Formula to level up your game! A new cleaner, brighter formula with the same amazing flavors you know and love—without the chalky aftertaste and no more powder settling at the bottom of your shaker,” the website explains.

“We’re talking upgraded ingredients, more aminos, more antioxidants, and zero fillers. Our new formula has everything you need to fuel your worlds!”

On top of that, PewDiePie revealed the “new era” in a YouTube video about his recent computer build.
