IHOP announces free pancakes for National Pancake Day 2026

IHOP is once again giving away free pancakes to celebrate National Pancake Day, continuing a long-running annual tradition that draws customers into restaurants across the United States.

The breakfast chain revealed the 2026 promotion in a post on Instagram, confirming that guests will be able to claim a complimentary stack for one day only.

National Pancake Day will take place on March 3, 2026, with the offer available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide.

IHOP confirms free Short Stack on March 3

In its announcement, IHOP wrote: “PSA: FREE Pancakes on Tuesday, March 3rd. Save the date! Stop by your local IHOP on 3/3 from 7am – 8pm to celebrate National Pancake Day with us. Enjoy a FREE Short Stack of our world-famous Buttermilk Pancakes. More details and surprises to come.”

As part of the event, IHOP is also inviting guests to donate to Feeding America in-restaurant on March 3, 2026.

According to the company, every $1 donated helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local partner food banks, supporting communities experiencing food insecurity.
