Hatsune Miku has added an unexpected new item to her long list of collaborations, teaming up with a century-old Japanese knife maker to release a fully functional blue titanium kitchen knife.

The collaboration pairs Hatsune Miku with cutlery manufacturer Sumikama, a brand with more than 100 years of history in one of Japan’s most famous blade-making regions.

Sumikama was founded in 1916 and is known for producing professional-grade knives, and the Miku edition is no different.

Priced at ¥19,800, roughly $125–$130 USD, the knife is a full-size general-purpose kitchen knife that is as stylish as it is sharp.

Hatsune Miku kitchen knife brightens any kitchen

Measuring 32cm in total length, with an 18cm blade, the Miku kitchen knife stands out for its blue titanium coating, which is designed to enhance durability and sharpness.

Its double-edged blade design makes it suitable for both right and left-handed users, while the handle is designed for easy grip regardless of your dominant hand.

The blade itself also includes newly commissioned Hatsune Miku artwork, so fans can either treat it as a display item or use it to prepare some tasty home-cooked meals.

As shown on the official website, the knife isn’t the only tool in the “Hatsune Miku Outdoor Cooking” range. Fans can also pick up a Miku-branded hand warmer, salad fork, and stainless steel curry plate, all of which feature artwork of the virtual star.

If the Hatsune Miku knife has caught your eye, you can also check out her official car collaboration, hot sauce flavors, and upcoming Pokémon-themed concert scheduled for March 2026.
