French streamers have set a new world record for charity stream, after ZEvent 2025 raised more than €16 million (approximately $18m USD), beating MrBeast’s $12 million TeamWater stream earlier in 2025.

ZEvent was created in 2016 by Adrien ‘ZeratoR’ Nougaret and Alexandre ‘Dach’ Dachary and has since become the largest annual fundraiser in French streaming. This year’s edition pushed its cumulative total past €100 million raised, and it now stands as the most successful charity livestream in history.

The event ran from September 4 to 7 in Montpellier, France, bringing together more than 70 streamers in person, plus hundreds more remotely. It began with a live concert at the Zénith arena, before marathon streams got underway, with streamers broadcasting non-stop for four days.

By the time the campaign ended, the donation total stood at €16,179,096.

That figure surpassed the record set in August, when MrBeast, Adin Ross, and xQc raised $12 million during a 16-hour Kick stream for clean water projects, a figure officially certified by Guinness World Records.

ZEvent 2025 stuck to its usual format of creators setting donation milestones tied to challenges and skits.

Viral clips from the weekend included streamers performing comedy sketches, group karaoke sessions, and competitive gaming challenges.

Donations will be distributed to nine organizations, including the Association Française des Aidants (French Association of Carers), La Ligue contre le cancer (The League Against Cancer), Helebor, Nightline, and various children’s health charities in France.
