Denny’s is once again turning Valentine’s Day into a wedding destination in Las Vegas, offering couples the chance to get married for free at its Fremont Street restaurant.
On February 14, the diner chain will host ceremonies at its Denny’s Wedding Chapel located at 450 Fremont Street, running from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT. The promotion is listed as a $199 value and is available to couples who agree to what the company calls its “Toast nuptial” agreement.
The one-day event continues a tradition at the Las Vegas location, which has previously offered complimentary Valentine’s Day ceremonies, while adding new perks tied to social media participation and next morning dining.
What couples get with the free Denny’s wedding
Denny’s says the complimentary wedding package includes a Vegas rock n roll style officiant, music, a keepsake certificate, wedding sashes, and a silk presentation bouquet and boutonniere.
Reservations can be made through the brand’s website, though walk-ins will also be accepted depending on availability.
Couples who participate will also be required to sign the brand’s “Toast nuptial” agreement, which asks newlyweds to pledge to stay together through the following morning. Those who do are given an “Over easy Overnight” kit at the restaurant containing Slammy-themed pajamas, eye masks, and pillowcases.
Participants who remain together through the morning of February 15 can tag @DennysDiner and use the hashtag #DennysToastNup in a “Just Married” post on social media to receive breakfast in bed.
Ellie Doty, senior vice president and chief brand officer at Denny’s, said the chain wanted to build on the city’s wedding culture while highlighting its own Valentine’s Day tradition.
“Vegas weddings are novel, but a Denny’s Vegas wedding is iconic,” Doty said. “We’re leaning into the fun of the city and our chapel’s tradition of offering free ceremonies on Valentine’s Day, but with a twist that keeps couples in bed to enjoy one of the best parts of a marriage the breakfast.”
McDonald’s has revealed its Valentine’s Day deal as well, and the iconic fast food company is giving away special kits featuring McNuggets and Caviar.
