Cheetos revives Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle permanently after fan demand

Cheetos is kicking off 2026 by making one of its most in-demand flavors a permanent menu item.

The snack brand has confirmed that Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Cheetos are officially back for good, following a limited-time run in 2025 that sold out nationwide in just 24 hours. The flavor became the fastest-selling limited-edition Cheetos product in the brand’s history, with fans flooding social media asking for its return.

Alongside the permanent comeback, Cheetos is also introducing a new spicy addition to the lineup: Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs. The new product expands the flavor into the airy Cheetos Puffs format and is made without colors or flavors from artificial sources.

Cheetos adds Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs with updated ingredients

Chris Coleman, Senior Director Portfolio Transformation at PepsiCo Foods R&D, said the new release builds on the Flamin’ Hot legacy while introducing updated ingredients.

“Flamin’ Hot Cheetos have always been a flavor icon,” they said. “Today, we’re advancing that legacy by introducing a new Flamin’ Hot flavor with the signature vibrant color from plant-based ingredients and the taste consumers expect.

“Innovation is core to PepsiCo’s DNA, and we continue to accelerate progress with offerings such as Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Flavored Puffs, which provides more choices without compromising the beloved spicy-tangy experience.”

Cheetos said Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs are the first innovation of 2026 under the Flamin’ Hot portfolio. The product is designed to deliver the same spicy, tangy dill flavor and visual look, while removing artificial colors and flavors.

The company also confirmed that by the end of 2026, Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Crunchy Cheetos will be reformulated without colors or flavors from artificial sources as well.

Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Crunchy is available nationwide. Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Puffs launch on January 20 at Dollar General and 7-Eleven, with additional retailers rolling out the product in February 2026.
