Burger King has launched a new fan-created menu item with the debut of the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper, alongside the return of apple pies in the form of a new Cinnamon Apple Pie.
The release continues Burger King’s Whopper By You initiative, a platform introduced in 2025 that allows customers to submit their own Whopper ideas for a chance to see them sold nationwide.
The Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper expands on the Steakhouse Bacon Whopper that Burger King released in early 2025. The new burger features a flame-grilled beef patty topped with crispy onion rings, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and peppercorn aioli, all served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
What’s in the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper
The burger follows earlier Whopper By You releases, including the BBQ Brisket Whopper and the Crispy Onion Whopper, both of which were launched in 2025 after being selected from customer submissions.
Burger King said the Ultimate Steakhouse Whopper is the first of several additional Whopper By You creations planned for release this year. Fans can still submit new Whopper ideas through Burger King’s website.
Alongside the new burger, Burger King has also brought apple pies back to its menu for the first time since 2020 with the Cinnamon Apple Pie. The dessert combines elements of the chain’s discontinued Dutch Apple Pie with classic fried apple pies previously sold at major fast food chains.
The Cinnamon Apple Pie is a fried hand pie with a crispy crust filled with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and served warm.
This release comes just after Burger King released a ‘Krabby Patty’ version of the Whopper that came in a square yellow bun.
