Bud Light and the Buffalo Bills have launched a limited-edition beer called Blizzard Brew, created using snow collected from Highmark Stadium to mark the final season at the team’s longtime home.

The release highlights one of the franchise’s most recognizable traditions as fans of the team routinely volunteer to clear the stadium of snow before upcoming home games.

The brand partnered with the Bills after the first snowfall of the season, gathering snow from Highmark Stadium and transporting it to Anheuser-Busch’s Baldwinsville brewery.

The snow was used in the brewing process and packaged into custom 16-oz cans designed for the collaboration. Blizzard Brew will be sold at select retailers across the Buffalo area and at the team’s final regular-season home game.

Bills legend Andre Reed will join Bud Light and the Bills at Highmark Stadium for the final home game to help mark the occasion and celebrate Bills Mafia’s long-running snow shoveling tradition.

Bills Chief Commercial Officer Jason Hartlund said the brand’s long partnership with the team continues through a program that ties together fan passion and Buffalo’s weather.

He said: “Bud Light has been a partner of the Buffalo Bills for nearly twenty-five years, and we’re very excited to continue our partnership with a program that brings Bills Mafia’s passion and Buffalo’s legendary weather together in a never-before-done way. We’re thrilled to officially bring ‘Blizzard Brew’ to life for our fans.”
