Brock Baker, the voice actor behind Brody Foxx on the long-running YouTube series Yo Mama, has publicly clarified that he has no involvement with a recently launched Yo Mama meme cryptocurrency.

In a video statement, Baker addressed confusion surrounding the project after Yo Mama co-creator Zach James promoted a meme coin tied to the brand. Baker said he does not run the Yo Mama social media accounts and has no connection to any crypto or Web3 ventures linked to the channel.

“Hi, my name is Brock Baker, and I am Brody Foxx, the Yo Mama guy,” he said. “I’m the voice actor for Brody Foxx and Frank the Cap and a ton of other characters from the Yo Mama channel. But I don’t run the Twitter. I don’t run the YouTube channel. I have nothing to do with any of the Yo Mama or Brody Foxx social media. I’m not involved in anything crypto or meme coin or Web3.”

Baker added that Zach James, who co-created Yo Mama, runs the brand’s social platforms. “That’s all Zach James… He does often make it clear that it’s him running all the social media and not me.”

The voice actor also said he has little interest in online disputes tied to the situation. “I’m rarely on Twitter, as you can tell by me still calling it Twitter. The last thing I want to do with my time is get in flame wars all day every day.”

Yo Mama, which launched in the early 2010s, became known for its animated insult jokes centered around the character Brody Foxx. The series has slowed in recent years following internal changes and the breakup of the original team.

Baker said he remains focused on voice acting and creative projects rather than brand extensions like cryptocurrency. “I just want to make silly videos and do voices for cartoons and video games and make people laugh,” he said, adding that he has no plans to return to frequent Yo Mama uploads.

The clarification comes as meme coins tied to online personalities continue to draw scrutiny, particularly when fans are unsure which creators are directly involved. Baker’s statement makes clear that his role remains limited to voice work for the animated character.
