Twitch and Kick star Asmongold defended having an extremely unclean house, claiming it makes him more like an average American than his fellow streamers.
Asmongold’s streaming room and house have been a meme and subject to mockery for years due to how messy they are.
The few times the 36-year-old has cleaned up, it’s not been pretty. He’s notably found rotten burritos and dead animals among the trash – something he documented for his viewers.
Now, the creator is defending the way he lives after coming under fire from fellow streamer Denims, who posted a photo of Asmongold’s room to dismiss his opinions.
Asmongold says not hiring people to clean his house makes him a “real American”
Asmongold shot back, stating that he is “very successful and rich” and, despite things going well for him, he chooses a more moderate financial lifestyle.
“I live my life as a normal person. These people don’t. They don’t live their lives like normal people. They have food delivered to them. They have groceries delivered to them. They live a pampered life of luxury. They have housecleaners come in and clean their house,” he blasted.
Asmon further stated that when he wants his house cleaned, he does it himself – something he doesn’t see other streamers doing.
“That’s my room,” he said, zooming in on an old photo of his trash-ridden abode. “If Denims or QTCinderella had a room like that was like that, they’d pay someone to clean it up. But whenever I had a room like that, I cleaned it up myself. And that makes me an actual real f**king American that’s connected to the world.”
Asmongold added that he “lives his life the same way everyone else does” and criticized other creators for their own lifestyle choices.
“They want to live like celebrities. I just want to live like an American.”
This is hardly the first time Asmongold’s comments on his lifestyle have gone viral. In one wild clip, the streamer said he used a dead rat as an “alarm clock” because the sun would begin cooking the corpse, causing it to smell, and the stench would wake him up.
Late last year, he claimed he was “beginning to evolve” by not showering for three months.
