Arizona Beverages has announced a new Chocolate Egg Cream Soda in collaboration with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. A portion of sales will go toward providing mortgage-free homes for families of fallen first responders, Gold Star families, and wounded veterans.
The New York-based drink brand, known for its 99-cent cans, says the partnership is a tribute to the strength and resilience of the city that inspired its identity. Tunnel to Towers honors New York firefighter Stephen Siller, who died in the September 11 attacks while serving with FDNY Squad 1 in Brooklyn.
“Arizona’s collaboration with Tunnel to Towers represents everything we love about this country: courage, sacrifice, and community,” said Don Vultaggio, Founder of Arizona Beverages. “This is our way of showing gratitude and support for the families of our heroes.”
A New York classic reimagined
The Chocolate Egg Cream Soda puts a modern spin on the Brooklyn staple, which originally earned its name from its frothy top resembling cream. Arizona’s version contains no eggs or cream, but instead blends in milk for a smooth, nostalgic taste.
Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of Tunnel to Towers, said the partnership both honors his brother Stephen’s legacy and celebrates a New York tradition. “This classic soda represents the same spirit of togetherness that drives our mission. Arizona’s commitment allows us to continue Stephen’s legacy of service while honoring the flavors and memories that make New York special.”
This isn’t the first drink Arizona has announced in 2025, either. After joking about the collab on April Fool’s Day, the company revealed in August that they partnered with TikTok star The Rizzler to create ‘Rizzler Berry’ that will release in October.
Chocolate-flavored drinks have risen in popularity lately, with Coke’s collab with Oreo back in 2024 resulting in both cookie-flavored drinks and soda-flavored cookies.
